About me

Hello. I am Larissa Astara Gray, an inspirational speaker with a mission to transform sex education and conscious sexual communication.

My own journey through rape, sexual shame and subsequent alcohol and drug abuse has helped me formulate my talks and sessions.

I aim to empower educators, parents, and young adults in fostering open, honest and comfortable sexual communication. I want to reframe the way we view sex and clear away the shame and fear. 

Our young people need to see the long term effects of positive and negative sexual experiences, emotionally, mentally and physically, from both sides in order to help them make much more empowered and healthy choices.

Consent needs to be forefront and boundaries understood.

The effects of pornography, TV and music should be considered.

Sexual journeys need to be prepared for emotionally, mentally and physically.

My mission is to reshape our perception of sex, getting rid of those awkward conversations, and the power dynamics surrounding it. I want to prevent sexual abuse and bring a much deeper respect into sexuality.
